Shipping policy

At Herbal Codex, we hand-pack every botanical order with the utmost care to ensure it reaches you in its most pristine state. Please review our shipping policies and delivery expectations below.

1. Order Processing

All orders are meticulously prepared and dispatched from our New York facility within 1-2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or national holidays will be processed on the following business day. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been successfully placed.

2. Shipping Rates & Tiers

We utilize discounted rates provided by Shopify Shipping to deliver your orders safely. To express our gratitude to our community, we offer the following complimentary shipping tiers:

  • New York State: Free shipping on orders over $60.

  • Neighboring States: Free shipping on orders over $80.

  • Rest of the US (excluding HI & AK): Free shipping on orders over $100

For orders below these thresholds, shipping costs will be automatically calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, and destination.

3. Carriers & Transit Times

To provide the most reliable service, we partner with trusted carriers including USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Estimated transit times are calculated dynamically at checkout based on your delivery address and the shipping method selected. Please note that transit times are estimates provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

4. Order Tracking 

Once your ritual is on its way, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number. You can also monitor your package's journey at any time by visiting the Track Your Order page in our website's footer.

5. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages 

Liability Shift: Once a package is handed over to the carrier and scanned into their system, Herbal Codex is no longer legally responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, or misdelivered packages. We kindly ask that you ensure your shipping address is secure and accurate before placing an order. 

Damaged Goods: If your order arrives damaged or compromised, please contact our Client Care team via the Contact Us page within 48 hours of delivery. Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographic evidence. We will gladly assist you in resolving the matter or filing a claim with the carrier.
